Ingredients

All our biscuits are lovingly hand made with the best ingredients available to us, ensuring we use local, free range and responsibly produced items wherever possible.

Our biscuits all contain wheat, gluten, dairy and eggs and are made in a kitchen where nuts and sesame can be present. A full list of ingredients is sent with every order.

At the moment we are unable to offer dietary alternatives on the online store but please feel free to get in touch at hello@biscuit.co.nz to discuss any specific requirements and we'll see if we can help :)

Keep an eye out for our seasonal guest flavours such as Spicy Gingerbread and Chocolate Orange to celebrate Christmas and zesty citrus flavours in Summer. 

 

Packaging

Our biscuits are heat sealed in biodegradable, compostable cellophane bags to maintain freshness.

Our gift sets come in a white or craft coloured gift box with coordinating ties and gift tag which can include a hand written message of your choosing.

Our bulk orders will be packaged and heat sealed in large cellophane bags for freshness and sent in a sturdy box for shipping. You can nominate to have bulk orders individually wrapped at the time of ordering for a small additional fee. Bespoke packaging solutions can be discussed for large orders - please contact us at hello@biscuit.co.nz to discuss further.

Storage

Please store the biscuits in a cool, dry and dark place (but not in a fridge.) Our biscuits don't like heat or direct sunlight. Once opened store in an airtight container. When sealed in their cellophane bag the biscuits can last  up to 3 weeks or longer but we highly recommend enjoying them within 7 days of purchase, they are a fresh product and are made to be enjoyed!

 

Sustainability 

We strive to respect and protect the environment at all points in our manufacturing and packaging processes, ensuring we are constantly finding innovative ways to reduce waste, recycle or successfully compost.  

Our postal gift boxes are 100% recyclable and we look to only source those made with a high percentage of recycled material. The remainder is sourced from well managed forests which are certified in compliance with Forest Stewardship Council standards. We use 100% biodegradable and compostable protective packaging in our biscuits-by-post parcels.  Our postal envelopes and courier bags are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
