About Biscuit
Hi! Welcome to Biscuit! I'm Tracey and for the last 20 years, (whilst masquerading as a serious business person), baking has been my not so secret passion. After many, many bakes and cakes for weddings and birthdays for friends and family, the opportunity finally arose to make my passion my everyday work and we started Biscuit from a fully certified kitchen in Wellington.
Biscuits have somehow been a part of some of the best memories in my life, from snuggling up at my Nan's house with some custard creams, doing late night kitchen raids of the biscuit jar with my older sister or even in more recent years when I would sit with a giant mug of tea and a pile of biccies to keep me going through the many 2am wake up calls with my little girl.
Baking is a little bit of magic, the pile of ingredients that suddenly becomes something people oooh and ahhhh over (even when the results are not quite what you originally pictured as my lifelong friends reminded me when they shared a picture of one of my very first public baking creations when I was much, much younger ...... I'm not sure anyone figured out it was supposed to be a sheep!)
At Biscuit we genuinely believe in the delight of dunking a delicious biccie, the joy of a tasty treat made with quality ingredients and a lot of love and a giant mug of tea (or coffee if that's your thing!) and we hope you or whoever you send a box to, enjoys it as much as we do!
